Simply combine a cup of the creamy liverwurst deli meat along with ½ cup of onion-flavored sour cream, 2 tablespoons of pickle relish, ½ teaspoon of garlic powder and 1 tablespoon of horseradish mustard together. Then serve it alongside of the dippers of your choice or use it as a topping.
Savory Scallion Cakes
Speaking of which, savory scallion cupcakes and pancakes taste great topped with liverwurst dip. The cakes are normally made with shredded cheese, chopped scallions and sour cream. Recipes that explain how to make the cakes are available all over the internet. However, most of those cakes are topped with scallion flavored cream cheese. We say skip the cream cheese and go with deli meat inspired toppings instead!
Meatballs and Spaghetti
Liverwurst may also be combined with ground beef or tomato sauce for a kick butt version of spaghetti and meatballs.
